2011 Animated Representations: Animals, Media and Place
Association of American Geographers held its annual meeting April 12-16, 2011, in Seattle, Washington. With the theme “Animated Representations: Animals, Media and Place,” conference sessions explored such topics as role of animal representations in place-making, animal imagery and the modern conservation movement, and human-animal boundary making.
